Republic Chambers is the home for the Prisoners Advisory Legal Service, which offers clinics for inmates looking for assistance with parole applications.
In partnership with University of Tasmania Law School and Greg Barns, volunteer students attend both clinics and her chambers in order to provide valuable resources that encourage prisoner's rehabilitation.

Jennifer offers a dispute resolution mediation service, with the view that litigation should become the last resort. She is accredited with the Resolution Institute.

Kids Helpline counsellors are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Nothing is too big or too small to call us about. Children can chose to speak to a male or female counsellor and request to speak with the same counsellor if they decide to use the service more than once.

The fastest way to contact Kids Helpline is by calling on 1800 55 1800. Calls from mobile phones, landlines and payphones are free if you are calling from within Australia.

We also offer web and email counselling. These services can be accessed through our website, 7 days a week.

We support mums and dads to be the very best parents they can be. We run playgroups, literacy and financial education programs, and other activities that help families – including grandparents and other carers – feel well supported and a part of a community.

Located in the city (Launceston) Morton’s Place is a community day centre. Offering over two thousand meals a month to members of the public. This service supports some of the most socially isolated and disadvantaged people within our community. It offers both free (breakfast, and other donated food items) and low cost meals (lunch) as well as support via the organisations chaplains and the centre supervisor. The centre also organises and runs other activities including life skill group programs

Parents Beyond Breakup (PBB) is an Australian Suicide Prevention Charity

Our focus is on supporting separating mums, dads and grandparents. In terms of numbers, this group is amongst Australia's most at risk (of suicide) demographic. Our support operates remotely by phone and online, and in-person within communities across Australia through frontline programs Dads in Distress (DIDs), Mums in Distress (MIDs) and Grandparents in Distress (GIDs). All support is free, confidential, peer based and non judgemental. PBB is one of Australia's most cost and impact effective suicide prevention services - bang for buck, PBB provides a leading option for charitable donation. Peer support. Give Some. Get Some.

Positive Solutions are strongly connected to the Tasmanian community through 30 years of service delivery. We provide mediation, counselling and EAP to individuals, families and workplaces across Tasmania.

Rachel is offering family counselling (court ordered and non court ordered), parenting co-ordination and report writing in and around Launceston and Hobart.

Rachel has membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers and the Family Law Pathways Network. She is a trained Parenting Co-Ordinator.

Drawing upon her past legal background in dispute resolution (negotiation and mediation) and strong communication skills, Rachel can support parents, children and family units. She also works with couples experiencing relationship difficulties, couples who are contemplating separation and those who are on their journey after separation.

Rachel can support all aspects surrounding post separation parenting including: working with families and children to support a child’s capacity and adaptability to navigate change.
