Open Arms provides counselling programs to Australian veterans, peacekeepers, and current serving members of the defence force and their families.
It is a specialised, free and confidential Australia-wide service.
Open Arms staff are qualified psychologists or social workers with experience in working with veterans, peacekeepers and their families. They can provide a wide range of treatments and programs for war and service-related mental health conditions including post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), including free and confidential counselling, group treatment programs, suicide prevention training, and their community and peer network to support the mental health and well-being of past and present servicemen and their families.
