The Men Engaging New Strategies (MENS) Program is designed for men who are wanting to change their abusive behavior toward their partners or ex-partners. The Program aims to help men learn new ways of behaving that are respectful and non-violent, and accept responsibility of their actions. Practitioners assess: risk to children; suicide/self-harm; and, family violence. The MENS program is part of the Safe at Home initiative, free to men and over arched by the premise of keeping women and children safe . The funding also enables Relationships Australia to deliver a free, three hour training session on Family Violence to community organizations and other service providers.
