Baptcare Gateway Supporting Grandparents and other Relative Carers Service South West Region
Category

Baptcare Gateway provides support to Grandparents (or other related carers) who are caring for their grandchildren or younger relatives.

This is a short term program that links carers with existing services within their community.

Services Included
Initial financial support to assist with the children moving into their new home
Information and support to assist the grandparent or relative to navigate services available to the children, for example enrolling children into a new school or accessing parenting information
A chance to meet other grandparents in a group environment
Short term support to assist with new situations or major transitions or perhaps a crisis situation
Enquiries or referrals to our Family Services program can be made by families or individuals directly, or by professionals working with the family.
