Children’s Contact Service-Relationships Australia Tasmania (Devonport)

A service providing safe and positive contact arrangements for children to spend time with their parent or other significant person. The Children's Contact Service makes it possible for contact arrangements to take place with a minimum of stress both for children and their parents. It can also help with establishing or building a relationship between a child and parent when there has been a period of limited or no contact.

Community Trailer Outreach Program- City Mission (North West)

The Community trailer outreach program operates in both the North (Launceston) and along the North West of the state and works in partnership with other community groups such as Neighbourhood Houses, PCYC and local schools. Mobile in nature and operating within many of the most disadvantaged areas in and around Launceston and the North West of Tasmania the trailer provides no cost food, beverages and recreational activities to the community. The trailer program also supports other community services organisations activities and fund raising events. It uses these events as a point of contact with the public allowing for opportunities to offer support, advice, referrals to those in need.

Kids Helpline counsellors are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Nothing is too big or too small to call us about. Children can chose to speak to a male or female counsellor and request to speak with the same counsellor if they decide to use the service more than once. The fastest way to contact Kids Helpline is by calling on 1800 55 1800. Calls from mobile phones, landlines and payphones are free if you are calling from within Australia. We also offer web and email counselling. These services can be accessed through our website, 7 days a week.
